Research Associates (Computational Design and Robotic Construction)
We seek to hire outstanding Research Associates with a strong interest in Computational Design and Robotic Construction. Your responsibilities will include collaborating on research projects; assisting with developing diagrams, simulations, documentations, and publications; collaborating on the design and construction of exhibitions and full-scale structures; and assisting with administrative tasks.
Postdoctoral Research Associates (Generative AI)
We seek to hire outstanding Postdoctoral Research Associates with a strong interest in interdisciplinary research on Generative AI within the context of construction robotics, human-robot collaboration, and manufacturing. Your responsibilities will include conducting research, disseminating research results, collaborating on interdisciplinary research projects, and assisting with managing the lab and projects. We also expect that you will collaborate with the ARG team on developing grant proposals.
Postdoctoral Research Associates (Construction Robotics)
We seek to hire outstanding Postdoctoral Research Associates with a strong interest in interdisciplinary research on Construction Robotics (and Timber Assembly). Your responsibilities will include conducting research, disseminating research results, collaborating on robotically fabricated structures, and assisting with managing the lab and projects. We also expect that you will collaborate with the ARG team on developing grant proposals.
Ph.D. Positions
We are looking for outstanding and curious-minded applicants with a strong background in Computational Design and Robotic Fabrication. Successful applicants will work with Dr. Arash Adel, Assistant Professor at the School of Architecture and Associated Faculty of the Department of Computer Science, on interdisciplinary research projects related to construction robotics, automated building assembly, additive manufacturing, human-robot collaboration, and STEM education. Our research interests include topics such as robot learning, computer vision, closed-loop control, process-level digital twins, extended reality (XR), and computational design.
