We are looking for outstanding and curious-minded applicants with a strong background in Computational Design and Robotic Fabrication. Successful applicants will work with Dr. Arash Adel, Assistant Professor at the School of Architecture and Associated Faculty of the Department of Computer Science, on interdisciplinary research projects related to construction robotics, automated building assembly, additive manufacturing, human-robot collaboration, and STEM education. Our research interests include topics such as robot learning, computer vision, closed-loop control, process-level digital twins, extended reality (XR), and computational design.
